Dark Creatures

Lesson One:

In Lesson One, we will go over the classroom rules and expectations for the term.  Also we will cover the classification of the creatures as set forth by the Ministry of Magic.

Once those have been covered, you will be introduced to the Grindylow.  A Grindylow is a water demon that is pale green in color and has horns.  Grindylows are found in Britain and Ireland.  They live in lakes, including our Black Lake.  Though it is aggressive towards Muggles and Wizards alike, Merpeople have been known to domesticate them .  Grindylows have very long fingers and have a powerful grip.  However it is easy to break their fingers.  As for their choice of food, they feed on small fish.
